Inter Shares is a regular donations programme which allows you to support one or more of our health centres directly. Your contribution can be restricted to one health centre if you wish. You will receive initial information and a photograph of the health centre you support, and you may write to them via Inter Care if you wish.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What will my money provide?
A. Your sponsorship money will go towards the cost of sending medicines direct to one of our health centres. These medicines will have been specifically requested by the staff there, and with each consignment we send up to date information on their use.
Q. Can I choose the country or specific health centre(s) that I would like to support?
A. Yes, but please bear in mind that your chosen health centre may already be fully sponsored. We will be happy to allocate you to a suitable health centre when we receive your application.
Q. If all my money goes to the health centre, how do you fund the UK office?
A. Your donations will be used to meet the costs of sending medicines to your allocated health centre. If you are a UK tax payer, we can reclaim tax on your donation via the Gift Aid scheme, and will use this money to meet overheads in the UK.
Q. May I write to the staff at my health centre?
A. Yes, they will be happy to receive your letters of interest and support but please don't send gifts or expect an immediate reply. Letters should be sent c/o the Inter Care office in Leicester and we will include them with the next parcel that is sent.
Q. How long do I have to sign up for?
A. Each of our health centres needs long term support and ideally we would ask you to commit for at least one year. But you may of course cancel your support at any time.
Q. May I visit my health centre?
It may be possible to visit your health centre at your own expense, but please bear in mind that these are not holiday destinations and many are a long way from proper roads and towns. If you would be interested, please contact us for more information.
