2nd Annual Charity Golf Day raises £2,000 for Inter Care

We are delighted to announce that our 2nd Annual Golf Day which was held at Park Hill Golf Club in Seagrave on Thursday 20th May raised over £2,000 for Inter Care.

We are very grateful for all the teams who came along and supported the event and all the sponsors who donated goods to help us with the running of the day. Thank you all! The sun was shining and two members of the winning team, Mulberry Square who scooped up numerous awards are pictured.

Charity Plant Sale and Coffee Morning

Antony & Tina Belderbos have succeeded in raising a fantastic £1,503 for Inter Care and CAFOD at their plant sale and coffee morning that they held at their home in Thrussington on 15th May 2010.

Global Harmony Evening raises a wonderful £867 for Inter Care

The a capella choir known as Global Harmony from Melton Mowbray put on a fantastic evening of African Music to help us raise vital funds to send our medicines to Africa.

The evening was a great success which raised £867 for our work. Thank you to all who came and supported the event.

Quiz success raises £323.50 for Inter Care

Thank you to all the teams who entered our quiz on Thursday 11th February. It was a great event which raised £323.50 for Inter Care which will send a consignment of medicines to Africa.

4,000 Consignments Sent!

Today, sees Inter Care - Medical Aid for Africa send it's 4,000th consignment of medicines to Wainamah Health Centre in Cameroon. To date we have sent over £8.5 million worth of donated surplus medicines to Sub-Saharan Africa.

Merck Sharp & Dohme support our work

We are delighted to announce that we have received a financial donation from Merck Sharp & Dohme which will support one of our clinics in Sub-Saharan Africa for a whole year. We are also most grateful for their product donations which included blood pressure monitor cuffs.

The donation was achieved through the hard work and dedication of Linda Coyle, Ellinor Taylor and John O'Neill who make up the Inter Care Support Group in the diocese of St Peters in Hinckley, Leicestershire.

The St Peters Support Group came to Inter Care on 16th April 2009 to personally deliver the cheque to us. The photograph shows Tony Jarvis (Inter Care Medical Director) on the left and Diane Hardy (Inter Care General Manager) on the right receiving the cheque from Ellinor, John and Linda.
