Tanzania Kwediboma Health Centre

This is a large health centre serving a wide rural area some distance away from Lushoto in the region of Tanga in eastern Tanzania and many of its patients are Masai. It has all the usual facilities, including maternity, Child Health and help for HIV/AIDS.

Sr. Rita, a Rosminian Sister from Loughborough, pioneered the establishment of the centre and has trained up local Sisters and staff to run it. Serious cases are referred to Handeni.
