Tanzania Katandala Dispensary

This is a medium sized unit, set up by the Catholic Diocese of Sumbawanga in 2000. Its various rooms are arranged around a courtyard with flowering trees, situated at the edge of Sumbawanga town. When last visited it was about to open modest facilities for dentistry and eye examination and clearly served a large number of the poor at the edge of the town.
