Bigwa Secondary School
Submitted by editor on 23. October 2008 - 12:39
The school, near Morogoro, some 100 miles west of Dar-es-Salaam, was established jointly by the Superiors of the Roman Catholic Women’s Congregations in Tanzania to enable girls wanting to join them to undertake or complete their secondary education. Since many are joining beyond normal secondary-school age, it was felt necessary to provide them with an appropriate and safe environment. Inter Care sends small consignments of medicines appropriate to treat the common conditions suffered by the pupils, teachers and ancillary staff such as malaria, diarrhoea, asthma, allergies and minor injuries. They depend totally on the Inter Care supplies for such items.
