Together with Wvem and Wainamah, this unit began as an out-reach clinic from Shisong Hospital but the people were anxious to make their own efforts and have created a small medical unit, still supervised from Shisong Hospital, but run and financed by themselves. It was also the first Muslim unit that InterCare supported.
