This Health Centre on high ground 17 km from Bamenda town is run by the Missionary Sisters of the Holy Rosary and since 1965 has been providing vital services for a sub-urban population of around 5,000.

There are no facilities for surgery, but there are 56 beds, and there are a large number of deliveries annually as well as ante-natal clinics and help for those with HIV / AIDS and TB.

A Focolare doctor who works part-time at the Health Centre initiated important social support groups for these latter.
